Submission Guidelines

Extended Abstract Submission

The body of the extended abstract should be organized into sections; Introduction, Methodology/Experimental Design, Results and Discussion, and Conclusion.The introduction should present a brief background of the study, research problem and the objectives. The methodology should be at minimal, sufficient to understand the research design. You may include supporting figures, tables, and images as necessary. Results should be combined with the discussion and be limited to discussing the main conclusions of the study. References should be listed in alphabetical order in a separate page in APA format. Add a short biograph of each author.

The page limit is not more than 5 pages (or 2000 words) (excluding the page with the abstract above and references) in Times New Roman font, 12pt and single spaced. Top, bottom and right margins of the page should be set to 2.5 cm, and the left margin should be 3 cm.

All the tables, images and figures should be centred. Figures and images should be numbered (see Figure 2 for an example) and figure legends should be placed under the figure or image; as for the tables, they should also be numbered (see Table 2 for an example) and the table header should be placed at the top.

Full Paper Submission

All papers submitted should be typed in Times New Roman (12 points) with double spacing and approximately 6,000 words. The authors’ name, affiliation, email, and contact number should be clearly stated on the first page of the paper. The abstract shall not exceed 300 words and should provide a statement of the purpose and procedures of the study, including major findings and conclusions of the research. 

Prospective authors are invited to submit full (original) research papers, which have NOT been submitted or published in other conference proceedings or journals. Submitted papers will be blind peer-reviewed. 

All accepted papers will be considered for publication in selected indexed journals (Scopus/WoS/ERA/MyCite) upon acceptance by the respective Journal Chief Editor or Guest Editor. However, paper acceptance in the journal is subject to review and revision in accordance with the journal’s requirements. A publication fee will be charged depending on the journal’s payment policy.

Post-Conference and Journal Publication Process

1.0 The conference Conference Scientific Committee will select a suitable journal to publish each accepted and presented paper in ICICS2022 conference.

1.1 The authors are required to reformat the paper in accordance with the Journal guideline.

1.2 All accepted manuscripts will be submitted for possible publication in selected indexed journals (Scopus/WoS/ERA/MyCite) or indexed proceedings (Scopus/Wos) upon acceptance by the respective Journal Chief Editor or Guest Editor.

1.3 The publication fees will not be borne by ICICS 2022, and the maximum rate of the publication fees will be notified by the Scientific Committee of the journal.
